Sacred Stone Spaces
Where Land Holds You
What I Offer Today
🪨 Wall Restoration. Repairing Philadelphia’s dry stone walls with reverence for their history. I’m in the apprenticeship phase of this lifelong craft. Right now, that looks like repairing old walls with care and studying how light moves across stone.🌀 Advising on small land art projects where stone might be a fit. Designing with purpose for grounding and meditation. Planting the seeds that will grow into creating custom sanctuaries.
Projects
My first commissioned wall repair. A 12-foot long by 2 foot high dry-stone retaining wall for my meditation teacher’s backyard, a full-circle moment after years of guidance. Thank you Bill Harvey! This loosely mortared stone wall had collapsed after 60 years. I chipped away at the remaining mortar and was able to restack the entire wall using just the stones I pulled out (plus my training from the Stone Trust). My first build had much to teach. I learned... How soil shifts over an era. How an ancient process requires an ancient timeline (especially in a rainy month). How a helper transforms the rhythm (thank you, Frances!). And how a heart-shaped stone can wink from the layers, and I'll find a space for her to be seen. 👁️💗With more time freed up, I’m ready for the next project. Let’s move earth and rock together.
